Kamal Haasan has finally broken his silence over why he replaced Selvaraghavan as the director of Viswaroopam.
Speaking to a Mumbai tabloid, the actor made it clear that Selva had wasted his dates, and he was forced to become the director.
Kamal Haasan in the interview said: " Viswaroopam was my project and my story. But time was running out. Sonakshi's dates were gone. My dates were also running out. I do one project at a time. If the director doesn't respect my time, I will have to. I am very clear on this. If my dates are being wasted, the project becomes mine."
Says Kamal philosophically : "I've limited time, with me celebrating a birthday every year. I wish I could celebrate my birthday like the government does, once every five years."
Viswaroopam is a bi-lingual in Tamil and Hindi written, produced and directed by Kamal Haasan. The star cast consists of Kamal Haasan, Pooja Kumar, Isha Sherwani, Andrea, Jaideep Ahalawat, Samrat Chakrabarti and special appearance by Sekhar Kapoor. Music is composed by Shankar Ehasaan Loy.
